A pair of one-win teams meet at high altitude this week when the Denver Broncos host the New York Jets. The Jets won their first game of the season before losing their next three. The Broncos have followed the opposite script, dropping their first three games before earning their first win last week. Denver is a narrow favorite.

Kickoff is set for 4:25 p.m. ET on Sunday at Empower Field at Mile High. The game will be televised on CBS.
After a rocky first few games in relief of an injured Aaron Rodgers, Zach Wilson turned in one of the best performances of his career last week. The Jets lost 23-20 to Kansas City, but Wilson completed a career-high 28 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns without an interception. Wilson has a chance to build on that performance this week against a Broncos defense that has looked lost all season.

Denver has allowed the most passing yards per attempt and second-most yards per carry. Its 37.5 points allowed per game are the most in the NFL. The Broncos allowed 70 points to the Dolphins in Week 3 and followed that performance by conceding 28 points to a Bears offense that was ineffective through the first three weeks of play.
Denver could get some much-needed help soon. All-Pro safety Justin Simmons, who has not played since Week 2, is questionable with a hip injury. Edge rusher Frank Clark, who has not played since Week 1, is also questionable with a hip injury.
Denver running back Javonte Williams’ status is also unclear after he left Denver’s Week 4 win early.
The Broncos have some momentum after coming back from a 28-7 deficit to win last week, and Wilson is coming off his best outing of the year for the Jets, though it’s hard to put much faith in either of these struggling teams at the moment.
